Announcing the 2024 Concert Series -

Ashby's Fort Museum is pleased to announce the upcoming monthly concert / lecture series for 2024.  Come listen to a great variety of local and not-so-local musicians every month beginning Saturday, February 17th with Ken Nolan & The Rhythm Section in the log building.  Log building concerts are normally limited to about 50 seats due to the intimate setting.  Once warmer weather arrives, concerts will be outside at the new pavilion, which provides a beautiful setting and great sound.  You may purchase individual tickets to all performances on this website, or you may purchase season tickets for just $60 per person, a 40% savings!

Motto Gun.jpg

This Gun Could Be Yours!

Ashby's Fort Museum is raffling off this beautifully crafted working 18th-century reproduction .50 caliber flintlock rifle.  It would be a handsome working black-powder gun for the field, or mounted in your home.  Gunsmith Dave Motto crafted this gun with exquisite detail and it is very representative of a 1700's frontier rifle.

We are raffling this gun off through December 7, 2024 at just $25.00 a ticket.  Proceeds will all go to further our educational programs at the museum.  Buy your tickets today!  We will draw a ticket at our end of year concert in the log building and notify the winner - hopefully you!

Let Your Name Go Down

History

The brick walkway leading from the new Edgell and Irma Pyles Visitor Center to the Old Museum building and the Fort site offers us all a unique opportunity to be remembered for generations to come.

The Friends of Ashby’s Fort invites you to sponsor a brick engraved with your own name or that of a loved one or of your organization.

Your brick will be placed in the walkway for visitors to see. It is a wonderful way to honor individuals and families, service organizations, fallen heroes, churches, clubs, businesses and associations for a century or more. One brick already ordered honors a local police department. The possibilities are limited only by your imagination.

Each brick costs only a modest $50. You may order multiple bricks with the same inscription or with each brick different. The cost is the same.   For more information, call 304-303-3366.

I would like to support Ashby's Fort by ordering a brick!
