From Cumberland, Maryland -
From Cumberland, head south on Canal Parkway, which becomes Route 28 after crossing into West Virginia. Stay on route 28 all the way to Fort Ashby, approximately 13 miles. Turn left at the only traffic signal in town onto Dan's Run Road. Go 2/10ths of a mile. The museum will be on the left, with parking available across the street at Fort Ashby Elementary school.
From Washington, DC / Baltimore -
Take I-70 West to Hancock, Maryland. Merge left onto I-68 West to Cumberland, Maryland, about 39 miles. Take exit 43-b, Industrial Boulevard, heading South. Just after the Fairfield Inn, bear right onto Canal Parkway. Stay on this road all the way to Fort Ashby, West Virginia, then turn left onto Dan's Run Road. Go 2/10ths of a mile and the museum will be on the left.
From Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania -
Take I-76 East to Somerset. Take 219 South. Just after crossing into Maryland, take I-68 East to Cumberland. Take exit 43-b, Industrial Boulevard, South.
